This study analyzes the framing of political news regarding the right to inquiry after the 2024 Presidential Election in online media Kompas.com and CNN Indonesia during the period of February-March 2024. The emergence of the discourse on the right to inquiry to investigate alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election has sparked debate among politicians and the public. This research aims to understand how these two online mediaframe news related to the right to inquiry after the 2024 Presidential Election and how such framing potentially influences public perception. The method used is framing analysis using the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki model, which analyzes the syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures in news texts. The results of the study show that both online media have different framing approaches. Kompas.com tends to use primary sources of information from political parties, while CNN Indonesia uses a variety of trusted sources and presents news with a multimedia approach. In addition, Kompas.com shows inconsistency in delivering news from the title to its content, while CNN Indonesia shows consistency in this regard. Despite having shortcomings in the use of multimedia and interaction with readers, both online media play an important role in providing political news that is trusted by the public. This research highlights the importance of transparency and integrity in reporting on the right to inquiry after the Presidential Election, which is a pillar of democracy and a tool for tracing various political issues that arise during the general election process.
