Media Podcast Sebagai Alternatif Membangun Kecakapan Komunikasi Mahasiswa dalam Menghadapi Era Vuca

Teaching and applying Communication to students is not an easy thing. Students need matured skills and preparation to cultivate interest until they become accustomed to Communication activities and public spaces discussions. The underpinnings of this research are Jurgen Habermas, Budi Hardiman, Horkheimer, and Budhana. The study aims to explore the potential of podcasts as an alternative learning medium to build student communication skills in the face of the VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity). This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with students and lecturers, as well as analysis of educational podcast content. Research shows that podcasts have great potential as a learning medium to build student communication skills in public. Podcasts are very helpful in developing a variety of communication skills, such as speaking in public, listening actively, and thinking critically. moreover, podcasts can also help students to keep up with the latest information and trends in the development of knowledge through the digital world in various fields.
