Hubungan Pemahaman Membaca terhadap Penyelesaian Soal Cerita Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN 5 Metro Pusat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman membaca terhadap penyelesaian soal cerita matematika peserta didik kelas V SD N 5 Metro Pusat di Kota Metro. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitaf dengan desain korelasional. Hal ini dilakukan karena belum ada pengukuran secara sistematis dan komperhensif pada tema hubungan pemahaman membaca terhadap penyelesaian soal cerita matematika peserta didik kelas V SD N 5 Metro Pusat di Kota Metro. . Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari kuesioner dan tes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD N 5 Metro pusat yang berjumlah 55 peserta didik. pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman membaca terhadap penyelesaian soal cerita matematika peserta didik kelas V SD N 5 Metro pusat. Hal ini terbukti pada hasil uji-t dengan perolehan thitung > ttabel yaitu 2.059 > 1,674. Adapun tingkat hubungan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dinyatakan dengan tingkat hubungan yang cukup rendah.
