Dampak Gadget Di Era Gen-Z Terhadap Prestasi Pendidikan Di SDN Masangan Wetan Sidoarjo

Gadgets have quite an influential function in the current era. Where everything is now easier to obtain, such as information, goods and knowledge just by using a gadget. The use of gadgets in the world of education has become an interesting trend, especially with the emergence of e-learning and online learning technology. The aim of this research is to find out how big an impact the use of gadgets has on educational achievement in the Gen Z era. Because in the Gen Z era, gadgets are very easy for anyone to own and use. The research method used was a semi-structured interview method as the main material for data collection. The results of the research show that the use of gadgets has a very significant negative and positive impact on education in Indonesia. One of the positive impacts of gadgets is that they provide fast access to information and online learning resources, increasing students' understanding and their interest in learning. Meanwhile, excessive use of gadgets also has a negative impact, namely hampering the development of children's interpersonal skills and creativity, as well as reducing academic results
