Dampak Bullying terhadap Kesehatan Mental Siswa (Studi Kasus di SD N 3 Gedong Patean Kendal)

Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan sosial yang kerap terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dasar dan dapat memberikan dampak serius terhadap perkembangan mental siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya bullying, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan mental siswa, serta upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 3 Gedong Kecamatan Patean Kabupaten Kendal. Fenomena bullying yang terjadi di sekolah mencakup kekerasan fisik, verbal, sosial, dan cyber yang berulang dan disengaja, serta melibatkan ketidakseimbangan kekuatan antara pelaku dan korban. Korban bullying umumnya mengalami gangguan psikologis seperti kecemasan, kehilangan kepercayaan diri, bahkan depresi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying di SD N 3 Gedong terjadi akibat faktor internal seperti kepribadian siswa dan eksternal seperti pengaruh lingkungan, minimnya pengawasan guru, serta kurangnya peran aktif orang tua dan masyarakat. Dampak yang dirasakan korban meliputi stres emosional, ketakutan, penurunan semangat belajar, dan gangguan relasi sosial. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan sehat secara mental bagi siswa.
